You may have noticed this Evenings Program is promoted as an architects of change. This is because Maria Shrivers work is driven by her belief that all of us have the ability to be what she called architects of change. People who see a problem in their own life formed a Community Around them and step out of their comfort zone and do what it takes to create the solution. And not many people do find the center and our guest tonight sunday. She had a happy and successful life, marriage, children but th
Helped them to find happiness but others have quit quiverful, saying it is a system with abuse. We begin with one of the most prominent voices in quiverful. Children is the fruit of the world the womb is his reward and you know what cant even read it because my bible is so well worn. Very tattered there you have read this verse so long. Yes. Nancy campbell has been quivering for years. The mother of ten children, six biological and four adopted. To explain the christian lifestyle called quiverful she turns to psalm 127 in her well read bible. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man so are children of the youth. Then it goes on to say, happy is the man who has his quiver liking it to the war when they went out with theyre bows and arrows, blessed is the man who has his quiver full of them. They shall not be ashamed. Because they will have children who they have raised to be mighty young men and women of god, and speak truth and justice and wisdom. Now, isnt that a great blessing for the n
People who are spiritual have a tendency with health their prayer partners. Not just pray for world peace, but for the discipline to change their lifestyle and prevent disease. You think taking a spiritual approach is more effective or can be more effective and make a stronger impact than all of the Health Warnings and all the plik education campaigns that have been waged. More an issue of support groups. Weve documented in the literature, if you have a support group the church is a natural support group. The problem is we dont have any way to pay forxl you already have a prayer partner. Your prayer partner has to be the person you talk to when youre about to turn into one of those fast food restaurants. Thats when you call your prayer partner and ask them to pray you on to the Health Food Store or home to cook your own food. Were going to ensure that the prayer partner has that role. Praying with a purpose. Were going to talk more about the battle of the bulge challenge when we come b
The queen has carried out a Public Engagement outside a royal residence. She was joined by Prince William for the visit to the porton down laboratory near salisbury. Our royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell has more. Out and about again on official duty, for the first time for seven months. The queen, accompanied by Prince William, was at porton down. Socially distanced, of course, but without facemasks. Everyone they met had tested negative for coronavirus. They were shown the latest in bomb detection technology. Machines that can detect one billionth of a gram of explosives. And sniffer dogs, which do it the Old Fashioned way with a keen nose and a waggly tail. So to the subject which is dominating all of our lives, the pandemic. No one knows whats going to come next. And the scientists whose lives are spent dealing with deadly viruses. The queen listened and expressed a universal concern. Now it is doubling. Its off again, isnt it . It is unfortunately on the rise. In ordinary time
Wont face lockdown as well. If the data is clear, then we will again have to impose restrictions on other areas. But at this point in time, i think it is appropriate that bangor is the right place to have some restrictions so that the high incidence rate there is controlled. Bangor had seen a significant cluster of cases, with the Welsh Government saying that they appeared to be closely associated with young people and the student population. If you go to the pubs, you see a range of ages socialising where they really probably shouldnt be. So i dont think it is fair theyre pointing the fingers at students. Were not allowed to form a bubble with any of our other friends any more, which we made a lot of friends in first year, so knowing were living in the same building and we cant go and see them just to have a coffee or something, is quite sad. Discussions on the situation in other parts of gwynedd will continue over the next few days. But for now, the first minister has confirmed that
