The family of a Sound Engineer, David Imoh, who was beaten to death and burnt by motorcyclists in Lagos State over a N100 scuffle has held one-year memorial service for him, with a demand for the trial of his killers. SaharaReporters reported on May 15, 2022 that David was lynched and burned to death, on May 12, by a group of Hausa motorcyclists over a misunderstanding that ensued because of N100 balance with another commercial motorcyclist.
On May 12, Imoh was beaten and set ablaze by a mob suspected to be commercial motorcyclists near Beer Barn, a leisure facility in the Lekki axis of Lagos.
