Gojek expands service offerings in Singapore by launching premium ride-hailing service

Indonesia ride-hailing and payments firm Gojek has expanded its service in Singapore with the launch of GoCar Premium, an on-demand service for luxury vehicles that will be available from 14 February, 2pm onwards.The service will allow users to book a fleet of premium taxis and four-seater vehicles in the city-state. Gojek said that these rides will offer “greater comfort with spacious interiors and plush seating for an elevated experience.”Each Go Premium ride will cost 30 percent to 50 percent higher than GoCar. Gojek said that the higher cost rides will help increase drivers‘ earnings for the service.Despite the higher costs, platform fees for consumers and service fees for drivers remain unchanged.Apart from Go Premium, Gojek has recently expanded its service offerings in Singapore by launching GoCar XL, GoCorp, and GoTaxi.
