Were going to start with the Cuban Missile Crisis. Cuban missile crisis was 1962. It took place over 13 very, very stressful days in october 1962. The United States at that point had long been flying High Altitude surveillance flights over the nation of cuba, but on october 14th, 1962 a u2 surveillance flight picked up imagery in cuba of something that started that whole crisis, started that whole standoff. Its interesting. The Cuban Missile Crisis is very precisely identified in all the history books as having started on october 16th. Two days after that u2 spy plane captured those images in cuba. But the crisis didnt start on october 16th because something happened that day, because there was some overt act by cuba, there was some provocation there or some announcement by them, it didnt start because on october 16th there was some act by the
soviet union or some announcement by the soviets that kicked off this crisis. The reason we can be so specific about when the Cuban Missile Cris

all were gob smacked with when we looked at the dominion case because even though we thought some might be going on, we thought a, they wouldn t put it in writing and b, i think i m pretty cynical about them and i was shocked. at just how it was that they put the dollar over the truth. it just was remarkable that they would say things like we have to get rid of this person because they re suggesting that we say something that s truthful and it s going to lower our ratings. and so here, do they have enough to get to the discovery phase? you know, i think that the answer to that is probably true. given what s going on here. again, it s not so much the first part of what you played but very much towards the end it really seemed to cross the line in terms of definitive statements as claire was talking about. and ostensibly discovery
presented. when you are deliberately and that s the only way you can look at it particularly given how this information was received . when you are deliberately hiding stuff from the judge, before you even get to the jury, it is not a good way to begin. fox has a problem. it has a credibility problem they re going to try to overcome that as you know, as a good lawyer knows in voir dire. they re going to try to select a jury that s more sympathetic and more inclined to be gob smacked by seeing tucker carlson and others on the stand. rupert doesn t measure with the rank and file folks who watch fox. but these personalities do but even yeah, and that goes that may not be enough to overcome the judge s suspicion of counsel. that leads to what i want to ask you about, that
