Well, I hope that you all had a really nice Christmas and that the recipes we gave you last week were of some assistance to you all. We had a most delicious Christmas lunch and all the family said I should really consider taking up this ‘cookery lark’ full time! I enjoyed it myself and I enjoyed creating a special meal for the family to enjoy. I have had many different and mixed versions of New Year’s Eve over the years, and I have to admit it was never my favourite night, but this year I intend to not put myself under any pressure but just to relax with some nice people, nice food and some nice bubbly. I love this selection of canapés and you can either choose to make them all or just some, but they are all simply delicious and well worth the effort.
