Mum sheds eight stone and lands her dream job

“He was telling me I was no longer fun and, as a mother, hearing those words left me so upset. It was the moment that I decided enough was enough. “I wanted to be fun again and able to do all the things I used to, like walking on the beach or playing outside.” Lynn Templeton and son Jack Shove, 17, on holiday in Cyprus in August 2019. PA REAL LIFE She said: “Instead, I was becoming unable to do simple things, like tie my shoelaces.” Lynn, whose partner, Steven Shove, 50, is currently out of work, had been a normal weight until a loved one, who she prefers not to identify, died suddenly in 2013 and the shock saw her turning to food for comfort.
