The BJP government in Goa has declared May 10 as a paid holiday, which will also cover private establishments and industrial workers, in view of voting for the Assembly polls scheduled in neighbouring Karnataka.
Stating that it is the Constitutional Right of each voter to vote in their State, Chief Minister clarifies that it is not a public holiday but paid holiday to only Karnataka voters, who are residing here and working in the private sector
