reporter: talk about a bucket list moment for this auburn university graduate. g i got a chance to check up with lynyrd skynyrd about their final performance with their founding member who passed away in march. they talked to me about their excitement for their fans to be able to watch this performance in just a few weeks. gary had been very sick and we were going, okay, well, we want you to come to this show because we re taping it, of course, and it s been it was at the ryman auditorium which is a great place to do it at. just you know, god works in mysterious ways. and he brought gave gary enough energy to come out there and play with us. and i think it was a great thing that him and dale showed up and looking back on it now, like i said, we didn t know for sure because he had been sick, you know, if he was going to be able to really do it.
