DGCA has received applications from lessors to deregister 54 aircraft leased to Go First, which is currently undergoing an insolvency resolution process.
Go First Airline filed for bankruptcy at the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and suspended its flight operations on May 3, 2023 due to rising losses.
The Go First airline announced to ground all its aircrafts on May 3 initially, a day after the Wadia owned air carrier filed for voluntary insolvency proceedings with the NCLT.
