my brother-in-law came from southern california and he hadn t seen the kids all year and so he s in the audience and making a lot of noise. he was saying go doocy kids. at one point the ref said that parent is making a whole lot of noise. i said that s no parent. that s my brother-in-law. i wound up getting a red card because i m the parent. i thought it was absolutely crazy because you go someplace to support your kids, the only thing you can do is use your voice. write him a note after the game. what do you think of a silent cheer day? are you for it? kids are used to being yelled at and people working against them and that might be a good opportunity. that is what we get on a regular basis. don t be silent about it. let us know what you think. like all these camera guys, they re not any good and we tell them. but they re used to it. they re tough. i just heard they want a silent brian day.
