have been working on for some time this morning, that is that a medevac plane trying to land at the reno airport early this morning, very early hours, was unable to raise anyone in the tower. finally after two go arounds had to land on his or her own with a very critical patient on board the plane. apparently unable to raise the tower. sources suggested that the controller may have been asleep inside the tower. we re waiting to see what the faa says about this, but this information now coming from the ceo ofç the reno airport, confirming they had an incident overnight. this would be the third incident in as many weeks in which a controller was asleep or allegedly asleep in the tower and not responding to radio calls. one of them, of course, here at reagan national airport, back on march 23rd when two commercial planes were not able to raise the controller in the tower. they landed on their own. and then another incident about
