A FORMER Wales and British and Irish Lions rugby international star has become an ambassador for a lifesaving charity in Wales James Hook, who retired as a rugby union player last year, made six appearances for the British and Irish Lions on the 2009 tour of South Africa and won 81 caps for Wales. In his club career, he has represented Neath, Ospreys, Perpignan and Gloucester. He is currently a coach at the Ospreys. Wales Air Ambulance celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and James has had several interactions with the service over the last two decades, supporting its fundraising work along the way.
