Today the CIF Southern Section and Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. announced a five-year partnership extension for Rawlings to be the Official Baseball for all championship events. Also announced is the addition of Rawlings softballs as the Official Softball for that time period as well.
The CIF Southern Section boasts more than 550 member schools and more than 2,800 championship playoff events. A total of 455 varsity baseball and 445 softball teams compete within the CIF-SS. Rawlings will be the mandatory baseball and softball played in all rounds of the CIF-SS baseball and softball playoffs.
