A RETIRED draughtsman who worked for GlaxoSmithKline – the company that produces Ribena and Lucozade in Coleford – died from the effects of asbestos exposure experienced in an earlier job, a coroner has concluded.
Roy Maddock-Lyon, who survived being shot down by the Germans in 1945, had been separated from his wife of 68 years Shirley for more than two months when he ended his life, the inquest was told.
