Brown on a mission to locate and flag veteran gravesites
GLOCESTER – William Brown can usually be seen driving around Glocester in his red pick-up truck with a large white sign on the door that reads “Glocester Historical Cemeteries Committee” on the side.
The sign is necessary, he explained. For the past three years, Brown has knocked on doors and walked through the woods of Glocester’s backyards in search of the town’s 142 historic cemeteries.
