KUALA LUMPUR: A wholesale jeweller from Lebanon has filed a suit against Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, demanding she pay US$14.57mil (RM67.46mil) for violating a contract involving 43 pieces of jewellery sent to her five years ago.
KUALA LUMPUR: Lebanese jewellery firm Global Royalty Trading SAL will re-file a suit against Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor to seek damages for 43 pieces of jewellery worth US$14.57mil (RM61mil) allegedly still in the possession of the wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
KUALA LUMPUR - A wholesale jeweller from Lebanon has filed a suit against Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, demanding her to pay US$14.57 or RM67.46 million, for violating the contract.
Out of the 12,000 pieces of jewellery seized during the raid, Global Royalty only found a diamond bracelet worth US$220,000 (RM1.01 million), which it said was part of the consignment. The piece has been returned but 43 items remain unaccounted for.
