Global Model United Nations 2021 IFAD Asset Request Portlet 07 - 09 July 2021 Global Model United Nations (GMUN) is a simulation of the work of the United Nations, created in 2019 by students of BA Global Governance, University of Rome Tor Vergata, organized by the public universities of Rome in cooperation with IFAD. Run entirely by students, its mission is to provide aspiring young professionals with a platform via which they can learn about international issues in a realistic environment and develop their debating and dispute-resolution skills. GMUN 2021 is the third edition of the conference and will feature five committees – the United Nations Social Humanitarian & Cultural Committee, United Nations Security Council, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, United Nations International Law Commission, and the IFAD committee.
