Houston Tiger Is Found After Being Missing for Days

A tiger that was last seen wandering around a residential neighborhood in Houston last weekend has been found and “appears to be unharmed,” the Houston police said on Saturday.
The tiger, a 9-month-old Bengal named India, was taken to an animal shelter, and on Sunday it will be brought to the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch in Murchison, Texas, the police said.

Carole Baskin, the founder and CEO of Big Cat Rescue, and who was featured in the Netflix series The Tiger King, is offering a $5,000 reward for the safe handover of a tiger who went missing in a Houston neighborhood.
According to a statement, Baskin said the reward will be given to the person responsible for the immediate, safe handover of India the Tiger to a sanctuary that is accredited by the Global Federation of Sanctuaries provided that person s efforts with law enforcement is sufficient to convict both buyer and seller involved in the transfers of the tiger.

Carole Baskin is offering a $5,000 reward to find a missing tiger.
The Tiger King star has learned of the plight of nine-month-old male big cat India, who was seen roaming freely in Houston before being loaded into a Jeep Cherokee.
The tiger had been in the possession of Victor Hugo Cuevas, who was arrested on Monday (10.05.21) and released on Wednesday (12.05.21) and faces a felony charge of evading arrest. Although the animal was gone, police officers did find a large tiger enclosure erected outside.
Police have requested anyone with information to contact them so the tiger can be taken to a safe place and now Carole, 59, has offered the generous sum to anyone who can assist with the safe capture of India.
