Farmers Market Week activities planned
National Farmers Market Week starts Aug. 1 and continues through Aug. 7. To celebrate, the Colorado Farmers Market Association is organizing a statewide photo contest. The winner will receive $30 to spend at their local market. Find more details on Facebook or at CoFarmersMarkets.org. On the national level, the Farmers Market Coalition is using various promotions to highlight the essential role farmers’ markets play in the nation’s food system.
