The Carle Illinois College of Medicine is taking revolutionary strides as the world’s first engineering-based medical school, according to its website, to make health care interdisciplinary and medical curricula more innovative. According to Mark Cohen, dean of the college and senior vice president of Carle Health, both faculty and students are now on the frontlines.
