Tickets for the world’s largest celebration of whiskies are officially on sale. The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival is back this month via an online program of over 60 events using a world-leading, interactive platform.
Standing as the festival’s 21st year, the 2021 festival will invite guests to take part in their own homes and provides the opportunity for people around the world to taste and learn about whiskies from the world-famous Speyside region.

Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Moves Online For 2021
The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival has officially moved their April festivities online, due to the coronavirus pandemic and recommendations from the Scottish government to restrict travel and public gatherings as a new variant of the virus arises.
With a full program to be announced over the next few weeks, events so far include a tour of one of Scotland’s newest and most contemporary distilleries, Dalmunach Distillery, from Master Distiller, Alan Winchester; an exploration of Benriach’s World of Flavour and new portfolio with Global Brand Ambassador Stewart Buchanan and a whistle-stop virtual tasting tour of Malt Whisky Country with The Malt Whisky Trail.
IT has attracted visitors from more than 30 countries and helped to cement the area as a go to destination for whisky lovers and last year Spirit of Speyside whisky festival had come of age. With three out of every five tourists coming to Speyside for whisky tourism, there is no doubt the festival has become an iconic event on the international whisky calendar and is now Scotland s biggest whisky festival. However, the event which had been due to take place in the middle of last year’s lockdown and had to be cancelled with organisers hoping they would be able to welcome people back this year.
