In its path was 19-year-old Glenyce McGowan, who was travelling to Tom Price to meet her best friend when flooding stranded the teen, forcing her and others on the road to camp overnight at the Nanutarra Roadhouse. Glenyce Rae McGowan disappeared from WA’s North West in 1975.
