2 die, others injured in San Jose crash after driver allegedly refuses to stop for police

Two people died in a crash Monday night near San Jose s Archbishop Mitty High School after the driver allegedly refused to stop for police, officials said.
The crashed was reported at 9:57 p.m. on the Lawrence Expressway near Mitty Way.
Deputies with the Santa Clara County Sheriff s Office said they were chasing after the driver who smashed into another car, according to KRON 4.
In addition to the two fatalities, witnesses on the scene told KTVU that at least two other people were injured.
