WVOW News LOGAN Police identified the body discovered Sunday in downtown Logan. According to West Virginia State Police, a Medical Examiner’s autopsy confirmed 42-year-old Anthony Lee Stollings Jr, of Logan, was recovered from the Guyandotte River Sunday evening. Stollings was found just downstream from the Reverend Glenn White Jr. Bridge of Logan Boulevard. No foul play suspected.
SOUTH BEND â Officials have identified and scheduled autopsies for the two people who died in a crash between a car and a semitrailer on State Road 2 early Thursday morning.Â
Investigators with the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team said Glenn White Jr., 25, and Aaron McDonald, 23, were in a Nissan Maxima driving on SR 2 when the car hit a semitrailer that was stopped at a stoplight going east at the intersection of Quince Road. Police logs show White and McDonald were from Chicago and Homewood, Ill., respectively.Â
A third occupant in the Maxima, Tony Black Jr., 26, was also seriously injured in the crash. Black, a South Bend resident, is currently receiving medical attention in the hospital.
Police release identities of victims in fatal crash at State Road 2 and Quince Road
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team has released the identities of the victims who were killed in Thursday’s fatal crash at State Road 2 and Quince Road.
Glenn White Jr., 25 of Chicago, and Aaron McDonald, 23 of Homewood, Illinois, were pronounced deceased at the scene on Thursday after the Nissan Maxima they were driving was involved in a crash with a semi-truck, according to FACT.
A third occupant in the Nissan, a 26-year-old South Bend man, sustained serious injuries and is still in the hospital.
