Kane Honored With Senate Joint Resolution For His WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

Veteran WWE Superstar Kane, who is also known as Mayor Glenn Jacobs of Knox County in Tennessee, is being honored locally for his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame 2021 Class.
Knoxville Senator Becky Duncan Massey has introduced a Senate Joint Resolution to formally honor and celebrate Mayor Jacobs as he prepares to enter the WWE Hall of Fame as Kane.
“When he is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Kane will take his rightful place alongside such legends as Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, and Dusty Rhodes; both Kane and his real-life alter ego, Mayor Jacobs, are worthy of our praise and recognition on this special occasion,” the resolution reads.

Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs (Kane in WWE) took to Twitter today and commented on a situation where the Knox County Health Department announced that a box containing 1,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine went missing.
Mayor Jacobs released an official statement. In a now-deleted tweet, a Twitter user said,
“Maybe don’t have a guy who used to get hit in the head with a steel chair on the regular as your mayor?” );
Jacobs responded with the following,
“WWE banned chair blows to the head years ago so good job staying on top of your material! Nevertheless, I do love a good game of childish insults so please continue with your derisive invective. But nothing too verbose or sesquipedalian. My language skills are obviously shot.”

A user responded to an official Knox County Government tweet with the Mayor’s statement on almost 1,000 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine going missing.
