At the Jan. 27 Lions meeting, Randy Lebahn introduced guests from Jamestown Regional Medical Center: Lisa Jackson, foundation director; Katie Ryan-Anderson, marketing manager; and Mike Delfs, president and CEO.
Jackson thanked the club for contributing to the JRMC Cancer Center which is exceeding expectations. For the past year, it has averaged 180 infusions per month. Giving Hearts Day is Feb. 11 and Jackson invited the Lions Club and members to participate. Information can be found at GivingHeartsDay.org.
Delfs has been in the health care field for 30 years and has been president and CEO or the past two years. Delfs said JRMC’s goal is to be one of the best rural hospitals in the country. This includes patients receiving care, employees to work and providers to practice. Delfs also outlined the ongoing challenges operating during the COVID-19 cris
