With just a couple of dozen people in this town, having 17 who served in World War II is impressive. It is one reason the town is throwing a big celebration Saturday, June 26, to rededicate the banner. Family members from around the country are coming, joining local honor guards and others on the special day. This is a great piece of history that s been lost, Terri Monilaws said. Some of these names are familiar to the community, they helped form the community, so we thought this was the thing to do, to bring them back out.
