West Australian Premier Mark McGowan has defended his governmentâs decision to look at voting reform despite repeatedly stating during the election campaign it was not on the agenda.
The government announced on Friday it had appointed former governor Malcolm McCusker to lead a panel of electoral and constitutional law experts to review the Electoral Act.
The McGowan government are set to overhauling voting laws in WA.
