A handful of students helped pack boxes of food into cars for Feeding America.
Angie Cann, an English and history teacher at Valley View, was there helping with students.
She said the center is for students from T.K. Stone Middle School and Elizabethtown High School who need an alternate setting for their education with smaller classrooms.
âDifferent students have different needs and our students here thrive in a smaller classroom environment,â she said.
Along with students from these schools, Cann also said they have a few classes of students from the Glen Dale Center, which is a girlsâ home for people from all over the state.
