I would not recommend using the san mateo bridge. Westbound 92 heading to the high rise, there was an earlier crash several vehicles. They eventually ended up pulling them off of that damaged the commute which is very slow leaving hayward out to the peninsula. I will put this on the map to show you the road sensors that are showing pretty much all the way across the san mateo bridge. We have slow traffic because of the earlier crash. The dumbarton bridge is your best bet and it is looking pretty good although you may have to get down with a little bit of slow traffic on the nimitz freeway. A look at the interstate 880 in oakland in case you want to take the bay bridge, and that bay bridge commute is much more ordinary. It is backed up but that is a normal way. A 20 to 25 minute delay to make it onto the actual bridge span.
We have this system coming in and it is june. You can see this system, not a lot going on with the system and i have scaled back some of the rainfall totals but santa rosa picking up about a tenth of an inch, Mendocino County had one third of an inch, and up and lake county it is raining and also in parts of marin county, Sonoma County and it looks like it is letting up to the north but not before the system makes it. As it heads toward san jose not a lot left but that system is here and the rainfall could be a bit overdone. I think this is a little bit on the heavy side but we have another system coming in saturday but i dont think it is going to make it. A lot of rain in cloud cover with this cool pattern system dropping in with the breeze being a factor for some. Maybe for another 45 minutes before this lightens up but not too bad. The system working his way to the east in over san pablo bay, vallejo and into San Francisco. By the time it gets to san jose there probably wont be much left. There are reports of steady rain for a few in marin county and around san rafael. This system will give us like morning rain and keep us on the cool side while it digs in. It will be a blustery day and winds out of the south and it is a front direction and cooler to the north. 60s for most and the cloud cover holding the system up.
