State funding approved for capital projects in region

LIMA The Ohio General Assembly’s passage of Ohio Senate Bill 310 and the state’s associated capital improvements budget has approved funding toward a number of local projects throughout the region.
By county, they are:
• Greater Lima Region Park & Amphitheater: $1,250,000
• Center for Health Science Education and Innovation: $1,000,000
• IT Infrastructure (Rhodes State College): $737,156
• Basic Renovations (Rhodes State College): $600,000
• Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center: $500,000
• Allen County Airport Communications: $300,000
• Allen County Justice Center: $250,000
• Lima All Ability Playground: $200,000
• Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center: $200,000
• Lima Crossroads Crisis Centers: $12,000
Riedel, McColley announce state funding for local capital projects

State Senator Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) announced the passage of Senate
Bill 310, which includes funding for a variety of initiatives across the
state as well as $2.2 million in aid for local projects.
Local projects in Paulding, Van Wert, Defiance, and Auglaize counties funded in the bill include:
Paulding County:
· Oakwood Community Park, $22,610
· Payne Buckeye Park, $20,500
· Antwerp Riverside Park Fitness Trail, $7,500
· Melrose Park Renovation, $7,000
· Grover Hill Welcome Park Playground, $5,598
· Broughton Park Playground, $4,124
· Paulding County Community-based Assessment Center, $40,000
