THE boss of a five-a-side football company has hit out at not being able to offer people the chance to play the sport for another six weeks, at least. Christian Rose, chief executive of Powerleague, shared his frustration of not being able to welcome customers, despite the easing of coronavirus restrictions. The company, which was founded in Paisley, also has a site in Glasgow’s Townhead. Christian, 56, said: “We’ve all been locked up due to the pandemic and we believe so strongly that giving people the chance to go outside and play outdoor sports such as five-a-side football is great physical activity but also so important for mental health and wellbeing.
