Glasgow Sheriff Court FORMER RANGERS player Alan Gow has admitted driving his car while his licence was revoked. Gow, 38, was snared by police driving a Land Rover Sport with personalised plates in Glasgow’s Drumchapel in August 2019. The ex-St Mirren, Falkirk and Motherwell star had his licence revoked on February 2014. He plead guilty on Monday at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace Court. The charge stated he drove the car while he was the “holder of a revoked licence”. Gow, of Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, was cleared of a separate charge of driving without insurance. No details of why his licence had been revoked were given although it emerged he had one previous driving conviction.
