Glasgow street artist behind Stan Lee s Marvel design unveils new mural for CALA Homes THE street artist behind the Stan Lee s Marvel mural in Glasgow has created another work of art. Danny McDermott, also known as EJEK, is the mastermind behind a bespoke mural to adorn the hoardings around CALA Homes (West)’s Prince’s Quay development. Danny has been a graffiti artist for more than 20 years and has worked on several high-profile projects, including a series of murals at Strathclyde University to celebrate the Commonwealth Games, and a memorial to Stan Lee in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.

Experts are continuing to reconnect hundreds of cables in the East End ENGINEERS are continuing to battle a major internet outage in the East End of Glasgow. Thousands of properties in Dennistoun and the surrounding areas are now back online after broadband access was suddenly cut on Sunday. A small number of properties are still without internet with Openreach experts having to reconnect thousands of damaged cables by hand. The outage was caused by the explosion of a cable underground, which was desribed by one engineer as a hand grenade going off . An Openreach spokesman said: “The reconnection works are broadly complete but engineers are continuing to work through around 35 residual faults in the area (which may, or may not, be linked) and testing is ongoing.
