This is so that the regular programme of children’s activities, including Rhyme & Sign and Story Times, can take place in a larger space this summer. More information about this will be provided through Penarth Library’s social media accounts in the coming weeks. Cllr Lis Burnett, Vale of Glamorgan Council Cabinet member for Education and Regeneration said: “Penarth Library has undergone comprehensive upgrading work and I can’t wait for people to see the changes. “Many of the traditional features have been restored and some new touches have also been added. “Penarth, along with other Vale libraries, is now open again to the public after a range of measures were introduced to keep people safe.”
