GLADWIN On Saturday, August 19, at around 5 p.m., an officer was contacted by the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Department who advised that they had been contacted by employees from the Super Flite Marathon Gas Station for a possible incident of animal cruelty involving a cat. A worker at the gas station told the Sheriff’s Department that a person had admitted to killing their cat.
A 45-year-old Flint man who has been in the Isabella County Jail since June was charged in Gladwin County Monday with murder and other felonies in connection with the shooting death of a Beaverton man in June.
