Police K9 unit members in Mthatha have turned to the public for help to find one of their dogs which has been missing since last week. Their four-legged colleague, a Belgian Shepherd named Dora, ran away on Monday last week. Police spokesperson Sergeant Kaya Matola-Mvanyashe said the dog had escaped when the door to her kennel was opened as she was about to be fed.

"I have not slept ever since Dora disappeared. I am scared and I am nervous. I have lost my dog."
