MONEY: Bank notes and coins (Picture: PA) TWO BOLTON businesses failed to pay employees the minimum wage required, the Government has announced. Data released shows that Discount Wallpapers Limited, trading as O’Neills Decorating Centre, based in Farnworth, and Bolton firm G & J Properties Limited were among a list of 139 companies that were named for not paying staff the minimum wage. O’Neills Centre did not pay £7,446.14 to 11 workers and G&J Properties failed to pay £7,858.16 to 1 worker, according to the figures. The companies named by the Government were served a notice of underpayment between September 2016 and July 2018, following HMRC investigations.
