Donors bucked national and state trends of declining charitable giving on Thursday, doling out $34.2 million for Give to the Max Day — the second highest amount in 15 years of the event, falling just shy of 2021's record $34.4 million. For the fourth year in a row, donations for the statewide "giving holiday" topped $30 million for Minnesota schools and nonprofits, continuing to surpass .
The organization launched in 2009 as a collaborative venture led by the Minnesota Community Foundation. Its annual event, Give to the Max Day, has helped raise nearly $400 million for 14,000 nonprofits and schools.
This Give To The Max Day, ElderCircle’s Board of Directors have come together to ask the community for their support through a $3,000 challenge match. Individuals that give a gift
