Coshocton Community Choir presenting virtual spring concert
Staff Report
COSHOCTON The Coshocton Community Choir will present a spring concert virtually via its YouTube channel at 3 p.m. April 25.
Director and founder Charles Snyder said even though they couldn t hold an in-person concert due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they still wanted to hold their 50th anniversary spring show in some way. Snyder worked with the choir s administrative assistant, Erin Jobes, to create the hour-long virtual concert. We borrowed the concert title and theme Out of Chaos, HOPE from our 2005 Christmas concert, Snyder said. The music for this virtual experience is pulled from recordings of our live 2016 and 2017 spring performances and, in many places, includes audience participation components.
