Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin swung by the new Peruvian Brothers restaurant in Pentagon City yesterday to sizzle some lomo saltado and rally support from the Hispanic community. The Tuesday afternoon visit came ahead of the pivotal November election, with control of the Virginia legislature in the balance. Youngkin wasted no time getting behind the grill Gov. Glenn Youngkin swung by the new Peruvian Brothers in Pentagon City Tuesday to sizzle some lomo saltado and rally support from the Hispanic community ahead of the looming midterm election.
Peruvian Brothers is officially open on the ground floor of Amazon's second headquarters in Pentagon City. The D.C.-based Peruvian food truck and fast-casual eatery officially opened its second brick-and-mortar restaurant this past Friday. The location at 1450 S. Eads Street is only open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. but "dinner and brunch Peruvian Brothers is spicing things up in National Landing and serving up a piece of home. The D.C.-based fast-casual Peruvian food truck and eatery officially opened its second brick-and-mortar on the ground floor of the new Amazon H2Q last Friday.
Peruvian Brothers has since grown to multiple food trucks and a catering business, whose clients include the White House, the State Department, the Pentagon and embassies of Latin American countries.
