Strange lights in Minnesota sky Friday night were SpaceX satellites
SpaceX is planning to launch 60 more Starlink satellites on Sunday, May 9.

There are thousands of satellites orbiting Earth on a regular basis, but none create the show of lights that Elon Musk s SpaceX Starlink satellites do.
The SpaceX Starlink program now features more than 1,000 satellites that move in fluid motion across the night sky, lighting it up like a string of white Christmas lights. Or, as some witnesses may have thought, a bunch of UFOs.
The Minnesota subReddit group has confirmed sightings of the satellites all over the state, including in south Minneapolis, St. Cloud, Faribault, Apple Valley, Elbow Lake, Forest Lake and Savage.
