haven t heard before. scientists now fearing that the earth s climate is nearing a, quote, global tipping point. one of the people who has witnessed the dramatic effects of the climate crisis up close is arwa damon who went to the arctic. reporter: we saw how the ice sheet is shrinking at an alarming rate. you have the warming of the air temperatures which are melting the ice from the top, but now you seem to have an increased warming signal from underneath. so the sea ice is being compromised from both sides. reporter: it s almost inconceivable, but we have declared war on our planet through the poisons we have released into land, water, and the atmosphere. assaulting mother nature on multiple fronts. arwa joins me now from istanbul. this is the latest in a stream of really profoundly worrying reports on our climate. what else does this one say?

do you put any credence to this notion at kellyanne conway went rogue? she doesn t seem like the going rogue type. absolutely not. she did not go rogue. i was at trump tower today, i know her well, know donald trump well. everything kellyanne conway does is with the blessing of donald trump. donald trump was happy with her position that she took. what would be his motivation for wanting her to publicly state especially knowing that romney is coming over there tomorrow. the position is that he has not been loyal to him, giuliani has. i can tell you the staff there is very behind giuliani and that includes kellyanne. however, donald trump was asked today in a meeting, i was not in this meeting, but he was asked in a meeting that was repeated to me, are you really irritated with kellyanne? he said, absolutely not, i love kellyanne. everybody else said she does not do anything that s not sanctioned by mr. trump. the rationale for him to do that is to let it be known out there
