Your Turn: Can Dunnellon afford a new police station?
Kathy Dunn
The chief of police for the city of Dunnellon has been putting out frequent news releases and interviews with local and regional newspapers, radio, and television stations. He has been remarkably busy showing the world how bad the conditions here in Dunnellon are and how police staff have been forced to work in dangerous and unsafe conditions.
In an article that appeared in the Star-Banner, he makes a huge deal about a snake that crawled out of the wall, mold, termites, and outdated wiring. Also, he points out the ugly paint colors and worn-out floor.
