ECNEC approved dualization of Lilla Interchange at M-2 via Pind-Dadan Khan to Jhelum
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council has approved various projects worth over 326 billion rupees.
The ECNEC, which met in Islamabad with Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin in the chair approved dualization of Lilla Interchange at M-2 via Pind-Dadan Khan to Jhelum including two bypasses at a cost of 12.760 billion rupees.
The other key projects approved by ECNEC are included the reconstruction of 115 kilometer long Turbat-Mand Road from M-8 till Iranian Border-Radeeq costing 10.461 billion rupees.

The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (Ecnec) on Friday approved 13 mega projects at a cost of Rs326.7 billion. A majority of the schemes were related to infrastructure and power.
Chairing the meeting, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin approved the Dualisation of Lilla Interchange (M-2) project at a cost of Rs12.76 billion.
The scheme envisages construction of two bypasses, bridges over nullahs, culverts and retaining/ breast/ toe walls. The project is expected to be completed in three years.
