WHITEVILLE, N.C. More than 700 dealers were registered for BTS Tire & Wheel Distributors Be the 1 in 2021 virtual conference, which was held March 4-6.
According to BTS the wholesalearm of Black s Tire & Auto Service the conference for BTS partner dealers and wholesale customers across the Carolinas was an opportunity to provide an open forum with dealers. A large part of the conference was devoted to working together and finding ways to attract and retain future auto technicians. We at BTS Tire & Wheel Distributors always try to maintain our family values and culture with our customers, the company said.
Among the topics discussed were retail, phone and product training; retail and commercial solutions; and new programs. The conference included motivational speakers as well.

RIEGELWOOD, N.C., January 6, 2021 /3BL Media/ – The International Paper Riegelwood Mill awarded $90,000 in International Paper Foundation grants to 32 area educational and non-profit groups in 2020, demonstrating the company’s commitment to education, hunger, health & wellness, disaster relief and initiatives that improve our planet.
“Thank you to these organizations and to our employees who volunteer,” said Kevin Driscoll, mill manager. “The work you do helps our communities thrive and addresses critical needs in our area.” International Paper also supports a number of organizations where employees actively volunteer and other critical community needs. Recipients of the 2020 International Paper Foundation grants are as follows.
facilities faced by children in the current wave of migration. officials at this group home want to show another side of that story, a place that takes pride in caring for the most vulnerable and traumatized of the recent immigrants. georgia senator tim kaine was coming out of the facility as we entered. this is a high-quality program. these are all girls homes for domestic and immigrant children. reporter: there are ten spacious complexes, a library, soccer field and gym. the immigrant children are housed and schooled here but are kept separate from american children. the american children are troubled. many have criminal backgrounds and behavioral problems. the work here for staff members is challenging, tough, and emotionally exhausting. all channelled toward one goal our goal with every immigrant child is to reunite them with family in america. we are parents to those children until they are reunited with someone in the family.
