ADRIAN A newly added program, designed to teach teenagers about social, emotional and all other life skills, was added to the course itinerary earlier this month at the Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee.
“Transitions” is the name of the newly implemented program, which is a six-session program that aims to guide teens through the challenges and opportunities that come along with the “transitions” in young adulthood.
The program was added to the course itinerary at the club, 340 E. Church St., Adrian as part of National Prevention Week, May 9-15.
“Teens participating in the Transitions program, will build the skills needed to make good choices when it comes to drugs and alcohol, and understand the impact drugs and alcohol can have on their ability to manage stress, make decisions and assess risks,” a news release from the Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee said. “They will learn skills necessary to communicate effectively, manage time and money, build
