BENTON HARBOR, Mich. The Benton Harbor District Crime Prevention Squad has continued to grow their enforcement and community engagement by getting more guns off the street and hosting police-involved activities for the area’s youth.
The squad is a specialized police team made up by Michigan State troopers from the other four districts within the Secure Cities Partnership.
Between June 9 and July 4, the Benton Harbor squad made six arrests for carrying a concealed weapon, satisfied four felony warrants, a cocaine possession arrest, and satisfied one misdemeanor warrant.
