More than 30,000 Howard County public school students are enrolled in visual arts courses this year as part of a program that emphasizes multidisciplinary approaches.
Hundreds of students twisted, twirled and leaped across Atholton High School’s auditorium stage on Saturday at the 2023 Howard County Dance Festival in Columbia. The festival emphasized the healing power of dance as companies from all 12 of the county’s public high schools showcased their talents.
