Men facing charges after sheriff says they supplied drugs in OD

Two people were charged after the St. Martin Parish Sheriff s Office said they provided a man drugs that led to a fatal overdose.  Chance Thibodeaux, 29, of Arnaudville, and Tory Phillips, 30, of Lafayette, were arrested April 14 after an investigation by the sheriff s office determined they provided drugs to a man who overdosed and died, department spokesperson Capt. Ginny Higgins said in a release. The man, who was not identified, was found dead on June 19 by deputies who were responding to a medical call in Arnaudville.  Thibodeaux and Phillips were both charged with second-degree murder, criminal conspiracy to distribute heroin and fentanyl and distribution of heroin and fentanyl.

Police Try To Identify Men Responsible For Breaux Bridge Burglary St. Martin Parish Crime Stoppers is asking for the public s help in figuring out who two suspects are that broke into Glenda s Creole Kitchen back in July. There was some damage to a window and inside the restaurant according to Major Ginny Higgins in a press release. She says the two broke into the restaurant at around 3:30 on the morning of July 29. The restaurant can be found in the 3000 block of Main Highway in Breaux Bridge. According to officials, both of the people who broke in were seen wearing sweaters that had hoodies, and they have masks covering their faces. It has made identify the two suspects difficult, but Major Higgins is hoping that someone will recognize these men. She adds that at least one of the suspects in the video surveillance that captured then seems to have a gun.

Ginny Higgins said in a release. The assault reportedly occurred at about 2 a.m. Wednesday on Pine Alley Drive in St. Martinville.
